My goodness, where does the time fly??? There are SO many new and exciting things that are going on at Bacchus House that I hardly know where to begin!!!
For starters, we recently added two very special wines by the glasses that are absolute crowd pleasers. They are made by Morgan Twain-Peterson, son of Ravenswood founder, Joel Peterson. His label is titled the Bedrock Wine Company. We are pouring an Old Vine Zinfandel and a Syrah that are both lip-smacking good! These are wines that show beautifully on their own, and really shine when paired with food.
Have you visited us for Happy Hour page lately? In recent weeks we have rolled out updated menus for both our small plates and craft cocktails.
Chef Victor’s amazing barbequed baby back ribs, over-the-top (in my opinion), macaroni and cheese, and flat out delicious blackened street tacos are just the beginning.
To accompany these wonderful small plates, we have added a few new cocktails to tempt you with as well! If a picture is worth a thousand words, then the COVER of the most recent edition of Style magazine is a magnum opus. Why? Well, it is graced by an amazing photograph of our Bacchus House Mai Tai, of course!! I highly recommend that you order one. You may not have a trip to the tropics scheduled in the near future, but if you are seated in the shade of our patio, take a sip of one of our Mai Tais and close your eyes; you just might feel transported to a tropical paradise!
Not in the mood for a Mai Tai? How about a White Linen? We make ours with Hendricks Gin, a bit of St. Germain elderflower liqueur, some fresh, muddled, English cucumber, and a touch of fresh squeezed lemon juice. Trust me, it’s heavenly!
Not a cocktail drinker? How about a glass of Happy Hour priced Frank Family chardonnay or Justin cabernet sauvingon?
As if all of the above are not the perfect foundation for an exceptional experience, what could possibly be missing from this Happy Hour equation? How about LIVE MUSIC???!!!!
Starting in June – we’ll have First Friday’s Live Music every month and are honored to have the great Craig Faniani joins us to take your Bacchus House Happy Hour experience to even higher heights. By day, Craig is a (relatively) mild mannered music educator of some renown. All I can say is: give him a baby Grand piano and a microphone, and be prepared to be transported.
The only thing more impressive than Craig’s depth and breadth of musical repertoire is his virtuosity. He’ll most likely blush at this description, but take it from me – this guy has chops.
For those of you who join us regularly for Happy Hour, thank you, thank you, thank you for continued support.
For those of you who haven’t visited us recently, hopefully I’ve been able to remind you of just one of the many reasons why you owe it to yourself to visit, stop in and treat yourself.
