I’m Harry “The Wine Guy”!
Destiny has brought me to Bacchus House and I couldn’t be more delighted! Over the last 14 years, I have had the privilege to work in some of the finest restaurants in Sacramento Area. During this time I have worn many different hats. My favorite role is introducing guests to new and exciting wine producers and grape varieties from around the world.
To me, wine is another food group at your table. As I see it, my job is to assist you to have a great dining experience and to demystify wine.
It doesn’t need to be pretentious. It doesn’t need to be stuffy. It should be FUN!!!
Bacchus, the namesake of our restaurant is symbolic of my vision. Bacchus is a Roman god associated with agriculture, wine, and the pursuit of ecstasy. As a guest at Bacchus House, we strive to create a dining experience that Bacchus would approve of. We want you to leave with a smile on your face, a tummy filled with happiness, and a song in your heart!
I look forward to sharing new and interesting wines, adventures, and Bacchus House events with you. While visiting Bacchus House, if I don’t have an opportunity to introduce myself please make an effort to say hello or ask your server to direct me to your table.
